Ihr Verantwortungsbereich als „Director Finance“ (m/w/d):

• Maintenance of good internal controls
• Finance and Cash Management, including participation in Group Treasury
• Administration
• HR
• Leading the Warehouse manager
• Prepare for, and accompany, the annual audit of the two entities
• Tax management
• User representative for Group ERP system

In detail:

Managing the Finance process to achieve

• Strong internal control environment
• Efficient reporting and projections to enable robust planning
• Franchisee management including assessments, controls and capacity building

Financial Management

• Support the MD in managing the finances (including budgets) of the German & Austrian entities effectively, ensuring accuracy and respect of the group deadlines.
• Formulate financial direction and support the MD to assess implications of financial issues in the short and long term.
• Maintain a dotted reporting line to the Group Finance Controller and implement relevant Group instructions.
• Ensure the group finance policies have been adopted locally and made context-relevant. Issue and monitor more specific and detailed Country office guidelines; in line with group finance policies.
• Support franchisees by gathering and analysing their raw financial data to issue reports, identifying trends and possible financial issues, which will enable them to better run their business.
• Establish and maintain a bookkeeping and reporting system for company operated franchises, should it become necessary to do so.

Budget & Forecasting

• Run a robust planning process, involving all stakeholders, resulting in an annual phased (monthly) budgets, together with a forecast for the two following years.
• Support and assist franchisee prospects in the preparation of business and financing plans for external use.
• Support and assist franchisees in the preparation of business and financing plans for internal and external use.
• Internal and External Reports - Ensure high quality timely production of:
• Monthly management reports for both the local Directors and the holding company, advising on variances
• Quarterly management reports for the MD,  the holding company, and the international Board, advising on variances
• Franchisee KPI reports
• Development of semi-annual price lists
• Other internal and external reports as required

Leadership

• Manage a team of four to five people
• Encourage an understanding of financial issues inside the franchisee network

Ihr Profil:

Als Senior „Director Finance“ (m/w/d) bringen Sie folgende Qualifikationen mit:

• CCAB or German equivalent
• International experience either in England or Germany/Austria
• Previous management experience
• You will have worked with both IFRS and German HGB. A full qualification in both is not required.
• Consolidation experience
• A good understanding of IT
• German or English as a mother tongue, with the other language fluent in word and script
